We acknowledge that in Saskatchewan we are on treaty land. These treaties serve to govern our relationships with Indigenous people. We live and work on Treaty 6 territory, which is the traditional territory of the Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Dakota, Lakota, Nakota and formerly Blackfoot. We also acknowledge the traditional homeland of the Métis and honour their contributions. We pay our respect to the First Nations and Métis ancestors of this place and reaffirm our relationship with one another and our cooperation to the stewardship of Saskatchewan wildlife.
